In 1964, Philippe Labro had yet to direct any films. UniFrance films nonetheless asked him to film four young actresses- Mireille Darc, Marie Dubois, Catherine Deneuve and Françoise Dorléac- in order to promote thèse rising talents around the word.

Philippe Lavro, film director, journalist and writer, born in 1936. At 18 years of age he went to America but then returned to France to build his career. In 2005 he launched a TV channel and since then has been involved in a wide range of activities in the industry.
