The New Year is quickly approaching, this is the busiest time of the year for this noodle shop. The old head cook very strictly watches over his son-in-law who is due to take over. He angrily throws away every version of the broth that the son-in-law makes saying, "This is not our broth!" The shop closes temporarily while the son-in-law labors in the kitchen to make the broth "just right."
Director : Daishi Kato
Daishi was born in 1982 in Gunma prefecture. In 2015, he directed "Don't Hate Me (Kirawanaide)," which received high marks from the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2015 as well as from festivals abroad. This is her 5th film.
