A young couple performs a series of actions in a white, clinically bare room. Specimens embodying the concept of "humanity," they are studied as objects found in and moving around a room.

Jørgen Leth was born in 1937 and raised in Aarhus. In the early 1960s he briefly studied ethnography and in 1962 he made his debut as a poet with the collection "Yellow light". He began film making in 1963, with his first film “Stop prohibition”.
