SHORT SHORTS FILM FESTIVAL & ASIA 2019 Screening in Autumn

Many audience came to the Tokyo Photographic Museum of Art to enjoy this annual autumn screening although it was rainy Thursday.

We welcomed Yurina Yanagi who stared “A Name: A Bell That Keeps Ringing” in the “Award Winning Shorts Program 5 -Focus on People and Society” which started at 3:00pm.
Since this short film depicts complex about name, Yurina was asked about when she feels inferiority. She explained her thought: “I do acting job because I love it rather than I’m confident”.

She also recommended her favorite short film as “The Neighbors’ Window” among the lineups of the Screening in Autumn. This short is screened in the “Award Winning Shorts Program 3 -Focus on Female Filmmakers and Actors”

BRANDED SHORTS PROGRAM and BRANDED SEMINAR were held in the evening.
BRANDED SHORTS is a competition for branded movies which started in 2016. After the screening of award winning and nominated works from all over the world, along with the winners of Branded Shorts of the Year,
Tomoya Suzuki (STORIES INTERNATIONAL, INC. CEO), Morihiko Hasebe
(Executive Creative Director, Hakuhodo Inc.), Peter Grasse
(Founder/Executive Producer of Mr+Positive) appeared as the panelists of the Branded Seminar. They talked much about keys of attractive advertisement. This report will be on the website later.
